LJH Financial Group

Steve M. Lovelace
Michael D. Johnson, CFP®
Keith Hullum, CFP®

We at LJH Financial Group are dedicated and committed to educating and motivating each of our clients on how to prepare for their future and present financial needs.  Our main agenda is to interest our clients into thinking strategically about addressing their goals.

We hope that you take advantage of some of the many different resources on this site!  To name a few, there are the calculators were you can use to estimate how much income and savings you may need in retirement or you can compare the potential future value of tax-deferred investments to that of taxable investments.  Furthermore, you will find a few newsletters and articles covering many financial service topics on this web site.

In addition, we believe in lifestyle planning.  Our financial professionals will help you through every stage of your financial life cycle, from when you start your first full-time job all the way to when you are considering retirement and all the many stages in-between.  We are an established group in helping individuals and businesses address their financial planning, investment services and risk management needs.  While working with one of our financial professionals, your planning process will include: discovery of your situation, profile of your priorities and then finally, creation and implementation of a strategy.  Regular reviews will play an important part in making sure that throughout the years the strategies we implement remain consistent with your goals.

We take pride in educating the community and we at LJH Financial Group are willing to work with any size group or corporation and implement a financial seminar for a given specified topic.

Being involved in the community is very important to each of us!  Our commitment to give back to the community is demonstrated by all our many yearly non-profit organizations and non-profit programs we each support.  Over the years we have supported the Charles Wright African-American Museum, the Detroit Public Schools and the Detroit Fire Department.

Thank you for visiting our web site!

Sincerely,

Steve Lovelace, Michael Johnson, CFP® and Keith Hullum, CFP®

Are Consumers Holding the Keys to a Better Economy?

Consumer spending still accounts for about 70% of gross domestic product, but some government statistics suggest that consumers may have reduced spending drastically in recent years, especially on discretionary items. High unemployment, household debt, and a general lack of confidence can affect consumers' ability and willingness to spend.

HOT TOPIC: Current Economic Conditions and the Prospect for Inflation
